For exploring further, the Amtrak Downeaster station is nearby with service to Portland and Boston, and local buses and rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are readily available. Driving? Route 1 and I-95 are close for quick trips up and down the Maine coast.

We're a husband-and-wife team operating a small collection of coastal Maine stays under the Maine Retreats name. We live in Bangor with our four kids and personally oversee every property — answering messages, coordinating cleanings, and making sure each guest feels right at home.

Please remember to bring your own beach towels. There are many shops close-by as well. Please observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM Trains pass through Old Orchard Beach regularly in the summer. The property is set back from the tracks, and most guests report minimal noise.
