The rental was super close to the beach and conveniently located centrally! Very clean, very cute! Only downside was how close the railroad tracks were. That gave us a bit of an initial scare, but not bad at all.

Our property is just minutes from the beach and the iconic Old Orchard Beach Pier. Most restaurants, shops, and attractions are within easy walking distance, so you can leave the car behind and truly enjoy a coastal getaway. For exploring further, the Amtrak Downeaster station is nearby with service to Portland and Boston, and local buses and rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are readily available. Driving? Route 1 and I-95 are close for quick trips up and down the Maine coast.

We're a husband-and-wife team operating a small collection of coastal Maine stays under the Maine Retreats name. We live in Bangor with our four kids and personally oversee every property — answering messages, coordinating cleanings, and making sure each guest feels right at home.
